You can be more specific in what would be the problem uninstall ?
if you don't care what happens during a repair or uninstall then go ahead. To be 'Safe' for any installs (including Windows updates and restore points) you really want to keep 40GB free on your main OS drive at all times.īut to answer you specific question you typically don't want to delete it as it could cause issues during a repair and/or uninstall. For example FS Global install would only partially install (no warnings) because my main OS drive only had 13GB free.
If you're trying to free up space because you have a small SSD that the OS lives on, I'd advise getting a larger SSD as you will most likely run into more problems even if you remove package cache.
